THE PIANO'S INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION IN TRANI'S CITY - ITALY
It was born in 1989. It is a biennial performance.
It takes place in the 3rd week of October and (it) is addressed to pianists, 15-35 aged for only one category, in a gala performance. It foresees an eliminating stage, a solistic semi-final, a final and a grand final with a Symphony Orchestra directly in public, in a gala performance.
The jury is constituted by International musicians, conservatory's or big Italian and foreign Musical Institutions directors, Music critics and someone from the artistic direction of the association. Lazar Berman, Maria Tipo, Bruno Canino, Adam Harasiewics, Sergio Perticaroli, Nelson delle Vigne Fabbrì, Riccardo Risaliti, Marcello Abbado, Paolo Bordoni, Kostantin Bogino, Perfecto Garcia Chornet, Marco Fumo, Aquiles delle Vigne, Joaquim Soriano, Peter Lang, Chia Chou, Einar S. Nokleberg, Warren Thomson, John O'Conor, Francesco Nicolosi, Luigi Fait, Masamichi Tzuzuki, Marco Renzi, Luigi La Porta, Claudio Ciampa, Pierluigi Camicia where there.
Mario Spinnicchia and Luca Schieppati (ex aequo), Yoko Kikuci, Massimo Severino, Valerio Matteo, Roberto Plano, Ayano Shimada, Victorya Yermolyieva, Vitaly Pisarenko won the previous editions.
The artistic direction of Competition is entrusted to a teacher Mss Cinzia Falco.
Bari's Symphony Orchestra and Bari's Symphony Orchestra of conservatory "Piccinni", Filarmonic Orchestra of Bacau, previously co-operated.
Our Republic Presidents, placed a "Silver medals" to the edition's winner disposal.
At the previous editions it was granted the Sponsorship by the Premiership, by the presidency of Parlaments European, of the Ministry of Public Instruction, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of the Ministry of the Artistic and Cultural properties, from A Pulia region, From Bari's province, from Provincial Organization of the Bari's tourism and from the communal administration of Trani.
Rosanna Cancellieri, Gustavo Delgado, Maria Giovanna Elmi have announced the final performance. The association doesn't pursue lucre's aim.
